This project is a single-story retail store located in Surprise, Arizona, with a total building area of approximately 6,000 square feet. The structural design utilizes concrete masonry unit (CMU) walls supported on spread footings with a prefabricated wood truss roof system. United Structural Design provided complete structural engineering services, including coordination for roof mechanical loads and masonry wall reinforcement for lateral resistance.
